A few days ago, I was in my backyard, working on my sword. Then my mom came out of the back of the house to take a picture of me working. At first I was a little nervous about it. So, now here I am everyone.

Now that’s one for Grandma’s scrapbook! It’s not every day you get to hammer out a sword. Don’t become a member of the red-thumb club!
You look like my kind of guy, making something out of metal. I like to fabricate and have been in the red thumb and the red finger club. The other day I ran a 1/8″ drill bit into my finger and out again on one side much like a needle would do but with a lot more pain. At least you have safety glasses on that is good. You might want to learn how to weld that would be helpful too.
Your ol’ metal making buddy Coker.
HI Dog! If you email me I’ll show you how much fun you can have with carbide and water. Your Grandpa’s friend, Bob
That’s an amazing sword. I’m really glad to see you wearing goggles; you wouldn’t want to hurt your eyes!
That looks like a great sword Sage!! My partner has a wonderful collection of swords and knives from all over the world. The hand-tooled ones are the coolest … keep it up!
Love,
Deb (your mom’s friend in Seattle!)
@Joseph: Don’t worry Granddad!
@mike: That had to hurt.
@Bob: Heh, I would like to see you.
@Margaret: You don’t have to worry Margaret.
@JanePoet: Thank you,and I would like to see the swords and knives. Send me a picture of them if you would.Thank you.
